Ten hours after Apple released the update to the firmware of its IOS devices, “hacktivists” from The iPhone Dev Team, with its redsnow software, have been able to jailbreak it.
The 4.3.4 minor update has effectively plugged the exploit used by jailbreak me.com to jailbreak Apple devices like iPhone,iPod touch, iPad and, especially, iPad 2.
Jailbreak enthusiasts are, however, advised to still stick to the 4.3.3 update as the 4.3.4 update is still a tethered one, meaning that it only remains jailbreaked when connected to a PC and most importantly, it does not support iPad 2.
