Microsoft Mathematics 4.0

No, it is not some wise crack or joke, it is for real.

Microsoft Mathematics provides a set of mathematical tools that help students get mathematical problems solved quickly and easily. With Microsoft Mathematics, students can learn to solve equations step-by-step while gaining a better understanding of fundamental concepts in pre-algebra, algebra, trigonometry, physics, chemistry, and calculus.

Microsoft Mathematics includes a full-featured graphing calculator that’s designed to work just like a handheld calculator. Additional math tools help you evaluate triangles, convert from one system of units to another, and solve systems of equations.

  • Unfortunately, Wikipaedia has run all these encyclopaedia under so i guess Microsoft has tried salvaging the remains of the encarta by making Microsoft maths a standalone app.

Wow. I remember wheni used this program regularly during my final year in 2007. It came with MS Encarta then. Somehow I forgot all about it. I just wiki-ed it and saw that it’s now a stand alone app with a new release just days old!! Time to download
