Steganos Safe 2012 offers an easy way to create a virtual safe to protect your data. You can store any kind of files within the safe; Music, movies, pictures, documents, and well, naughty stuffs too, right on your laptop or external drives. The safe utilizes the latest encryption technology named Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) which is also used by US Govt. Without the right password, nobody can retrieve the contents of your vault, even you!
Alternatively, the program offers a Pic-Pass feature. This enables you to use images to access the safe instead of password, which is a nice option for those who do not want to remember more passwords.
The unlocked safe seamlessly integrates itself in the system as a disk drive and can be used from any application. For example, you can save files you’re working on in Word directly to Steganos Safe 2012. If desired, you can even launch the safe directly from Windows.
